The Gulf Coast Half Marathon Series recognizes what fabulous assets we have along the coastal states. From beautiful beaches and life sustaining wetlands, water is a continuous sustaining force to our quality of life. It is with this awareness that the Gulf Coast Half Marathon Series has made a commitment to do our part to improving our “playground” and educating those around us to improve our environment for future generations. To this end the Gulf Coast Half Marathon Series pledges to GO GREEN & GEAUX BLUE. The following ‘green’ methods will help our environment stay green and our water stay blue: > Provide recycling bins at the series and recycle cardboard, paper, plastic, etc. > Reduce paper waste by driving pre-race registration online with only paper > Reusing event signage Join us in our efforts to GO GREEN & GEAUX BLUE!
