Race packets only (Bib & ChampionChip) will be available on race day at Casino Beach from 5:30am - 6:30am. Please bring a government issued photo ID to packet pick-up to retrieve your packet. Packets may be picked up on behalf of other participants on Friday & Saturday. A copy of that participants photo ID is required and an acknowledgment will need to be signed.

T-shirts were ordered based on pre-registration numbers. We strive to ensure that every participant receives the shirt size that they ordered while allowing for changes at packet pick-up. To ensure shirt size, we highly recommend picking up early during the packet pick-up hours listed above.

We would like to welcome you to one of the best beaches in the world. In addition to provided a spectacular backdrop to run against, we encourage you to spend some time and explore all of the many places around Pensacola Beach. Be sure to stop by Flounders before the race to load up on some great coastal cuisine.

The 1st annual Joe Relaxo Flip-Flop Run presented by Portofino Island to benefit the American Cancer Society
Join us Saturday April 10th at 6:00pm for the 1st annual Joe Relaxo Flip-Flop Run presented by Portofino Island to benefit the American Cancer Society. This fun event will help to kick off what is sure to be a great weekend. Staged directly across the street from Portofino Island Resort on the beach, participants will race across the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach. In true Joe Relaxo style all competitors are required to wear a pair of flip-flops (thong flips, no soccer sandals, come on really?!?!?!)

The entry fee is $10 with all the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society. The first 50 participants are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt. Registration will be available during packet pick-up and starting at 5:00pm on the beach across from Portofino on Saturday. Come on out and join us in your loudest flowered shirt, best grass skirt, or get really creative with your costume and have some fun raising money for cancer research!

Directions and Parking
Take I-110 south from I-10 through Pensacola to Hwy 98. This will lead you across the Pensacola Bay Bridge, through Gulf Breeze, and across Bob Sykes Bridge to Pensacola Beach & Santa Rosa Island. Remember to bring $1 for the toll onto Santa Rosa Island. Parking will be located at the Casino Beach Parking lot. Look for the Pensacola Beach Ball water tower.

Due to the close proximity of the start and finish gear check is not necessary. Simply place any gear that you wish to wear before the start into your vehicle immediately preceding the beginning of the race and it will be there waiting for you when you finish directly across Via De Luna Dr!

Action Sports International will be at the event to capture all of your photographic memories. So whether this is your first half marathon or your 50th, remember to wear that smile at the start, on the course, and certainly at the finish. Flounders Post-Race Party fueled by Landshark Lager & Publix
The post-race party will take place on the beach directly behind Flounders. Starting at around 9am participants will be treated to some top shelf grub provided by the fine folks at Flounders, beer provided by Landshark Lager, and other assorted goodies provided by Publix.

One common complaint is that the awards ceremony never starts soon enough and that people have to wait around. Well in the spirit of fun we're changing the way it's done. The top finishers will be announced in our awards presentation starting at 10:00am and all other age groupers can claim their awards as soon as we wrap up with our overall awards. This way you can claim your award and never slow down the party!
