The 1st annual Joe Relaxo Flip-Flop Run presented by Portofino Island to benefit the American Cancer Society
Join us Saturday April 10th at 6:00pm for the 1st annual Joe Relaxo Flip-Flop Run presented by Portofino Island to benefit the American Cancer Society. This fun event will help to kick off what is sure to be a great weekend. Staged directly across the street from Portofino Island Resort on the beach, participants will race across the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach. In true Joe Relaxo style all competitors are required to wear a pair of flip-flops (thong flips, no soccer sandals, come on really?!?!?!) Where you wear them is entirely up to you, be creative!
The entry fee is $10 with all the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society. The first 50 participants are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt. Registration will be available during packet pick-up and starting at 5:00pm on the beach across from Portofino on Saturday. Come on out and join us in your loudest flowered shirt, best grass skirt, or get really creative with your costume and have some fun raising money for cancer research!
